  • How Supervision works

    I offer supervision to Psychologists and other Mental Health Workers who are interested in integrating depth based approaches into their practice.

    I am a STAP accredited supervisor and am available to supervise Masters of Psychology graduates including for clinical endorsement.

    Supervision can be one on one or in a small group setting.

    Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

    1

    First, we will work out what your hopes for supervision are.

    2

    I provide a safe, accepting space where you are able to reflect on your clinical experiences, including the parts that didn't go so well, which you are stuck on or want to improve.

    I will start to get a picture of what relational and unconscious processes may be at play, and share my impressions with you.

    Together, we’ll start building a more comprehensive formulation of your case and identifying potential interventions based on this.

    We’ll start to work out what you and/or your client needs to help the therapy progress.

    We can plan to develop these skills in supervision; you may be provided with reading suggestions or linked in with resources.
